James bond quantum of solace reveiw

James Bond quantum of solace review

James Bond quantum of solace is a really good game, it has the right level of action and has a very good storyline but some of the levels are kind of hard.

Gameplay (single player)

The Gameplay in quantum of solace is amazing it has lots of action but it doesn’t have enough to make you get bored of the game because it also has some suspense in the last few levels of the game and the best thing about this game is that even on the first level as soon as the cut scene ends you find yourself shooting your way through Mr. White’s thugs at his home. To be honest if activision do decide to come out with another game which has been rumoured then I would love to see them top what they have done with quantum of solace in the single player campaign!

Gameplay (online multiplayer)

To be honest, I don’t think that the multiplayer lived up to the standard of the single player. The reason I say this is because after playing loads of multiplayer I didn’t find it as exciting as playing call of duty multiplayer because in the James Bond online you don’t really get a lot out of winning matches or getting so many kills whereas in call of duty you can get to different levels, unlock perks and there is a much wider range of attachments and weapons than there is in quantum of solace. However, if they do bring out this new game and improve the multiplayer then I will happily stand corrected.

Weaponry

Again, the weaponry selections are very small compared to call of duty and seeing as activision “helped” infinity ward with call of duty I am very surprised that they have very little weapons in the game! But, the weapons they have chosen are very powerful weapons for Bond and I like the fact than unlike call of duty they have not put all of their work into deciding what weapons to use because they have added takedowns into quantum of solace as well which are very useful when you don’t want to be seen.

Graphics

In this game the graphics are astonishing! Like I said in the Half blood prince review the characters look really life-like especially the main character James Bond. I think that activision are one of the best developers when It comes to games because they pay attention to every last detail!

Final opinion

In conclusion, I think this game is the best James bond game ever made! My rating is 10/10!

Harry potter and the half blood prince review

Harry potter and the half blood prince is the sixth Harry Potter game and is probably the best one that I have played so far, the reason I say this is because I have not yet played the deathly hallows part one.

Gameplay

The gameplay improves with every game but in this game it is as fluent as ever. Also, the storyline is really interesting and it definitely kept me playing until the very end unlike order of the phoenix. However, when you complete the half blood prince you end up back in Hogwarts and there is no other missions to complete all you can do is collect Hogwarts crests and duel at the duelling club, even though collecting crests can get you achievements and trophies it does get kind of boring after doing it for a long time and it can sometimes be frustrating when you can’t reach a certain crest because it is too high.

Missions

As I said in the last paragraph the missions are very enjoyable and kept me going until the end but some of the missions are completely random for example when you have to go and make a potion for Ginny and when you end up fighting one of Malfoy’s henchmen whilst on your way to quidditch practice with Katie Bell. That is the only downside to this game which is much better than harry potter five because there was loads of downsides to that.

Achievements and trophies

The achievements and trophies in this game are not very story focused, most of them are to do with the Hogwarts crests and the badges that you can get such as the duelling club beginner badge and the potion master badge so I was not as focused on getting the trophies in this game as I am in the other games I play.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are amazing and if I had to rate this game of graphics alone then I would give it 10/10. The characters are so life like and it is obvious that the developers payed close attention to the details in the film concerning the characters facial and body features for example the black mark on Dumbledore’s finger from the horchrux ring is exactly like it is in the film Harry’s scar is also exact!

Final opinion

In conclusion, I would rate this game 8/10 because it is an excellent game and it has very little faults.

New halo reach Noble DLC map pack

As mentioned in episode six of my podcast there is a new halo reach DLC called Nobel it is a map pack and it includes 3 new maps. Here is the report from www.game.co.uk

“The Halo: Reach multiplayer experience is about to get bigger thanks to the forthcoming launch of a new downloadable content package.
Developer Bungie has created the Noble Map Pack, which will be available for Xbox 360 owners at the end of next month and offers up three new deathmatch arenas for the blockbuster shooter.
Gamers who download the pack will be able to duke it out on Tempest - a tactical map featuring two symmetrical bases - as well as Anchor 9, an outer-space repair vessel characterised by tight corridors, large hangars and low-gravity areas.
Meanwhile, the third map Breakpoint sees players do battle in an abandoned ice-covered laboratory.
The news will be welcomed by the many UK gamers who helped Halo: Reach to record the fifth-biggest launch week of all time when it made its debut last month.
It is an epic prequel to the Halo saga and tells the heroic story of Noble Team, a group of Spartan super-soldiers defending the planet Reach from the alien fanatics of the Covenant.”

Hopefully I will  be able to get more news on this soon.
